This week we're featuring glass magnets. These turned out to be really fun to make (and quite addicting.) I think my daughters made 18 in all and only stopped because we ran out of magnets!

You will need some glass "marbles" found in the floral department of your craft store, round magnets, silicon based glue and magazines or craft paper.

Cut out a design you want to glue to the back of the marble. You can use the marble to trace around the image to get it to fit perfectly.

Takes some of your glue and put a bead on the marble.

Then take your little circle image and squish it together to remove all the air bubbles. Make sure you turn it over right away or it will be glued to your table!

Put another bead of glue on the magnet and squish the marble on top of that. Make sure to apply firm pressure to get all the air bubbles out.

And there you go! You can do theme magnets to give away as gifts. We'll be making more of the for sure. They look really cute stuck to our refrigerator.
