Designer of the Week - Annabella*Designs
This week get to know Aida of Annabella*Designs She lives in Denmark, Scandinavia with her three beautiful children,
a 12 year old boy and 3½ yr old twin girls, my models and is "married to the most wonderful and supportive man in the world."

JM: When did you get started sewing and creating?
AIDA:I started a little over 2 years ago,
encouraged by 2 of the most amazing designers on eBay.
I found the most wonderful designer/teacher here in Denmark and the rest is history. The learning process never stops.
It seems the lack of creativity I suffered for the most part in my life is finally kicking in.
JM: When did you start selling your designs on eBay?
AIDA:I started on eBay about 1½ years ago. I also sell on my website, www.annabella-designs.com, and on Etsy. Before eBay, I worked full time in corporate America and then became a SAHM. The transition was difficult at first only because of the lifestyle change. Now, I consider myself to be a WAHM and LOVE every minute of it.
JM: Do you remember the first outfit you sold on eBay?
AIDA: 
OMG, I do remember! It was called Tropical Delight and it sold for $24.99, which included Free Shipping! So as you can see,
the amount wasn’t much, but the feedback I received was priceless.
JM: How did come up with your name?
AIDA: The name was easily decided. My daughter’s names are Isabella & Julianna. So I took their nicknames, Bella & Anna, to create AnnaBella*Designs. After all, they are the inspiration behind every single design.
JM: Do you belong to any boutique group?
AIDA:I am a proud member of BonBijou. I was asked to join by a dear friend in June 2006 and knew right away that I found my “home.” We are all friends first and at the end of the day, that is what counts
JM: Do you have a favorite item to create?
AIDA: I find that I enjoy everything I make so far, the more I learn the more new things ive been trying. I guess if I had to choose though....it would be the swing tops, they look so fabulously cute on my little girl.
JM: If you could learn some new skills, what would they be?
AIDA: Drawing! OMG, if only I could I wouldn’t have to RUN to my work table and start cutting patterns every time I had an idea for a set. Graphic Design. I would LOVE to be able to create my own graphics.
JM: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
AIDA: 
Oh my, I would have to say Dubai.
When we flew home from Bangkok, I opened the window hatch and saw Dubai at night and fell in love.
JM: What other things do you enjoy besides sewing?
AIDA:Travel. We travel a lot and I enjoy every minute of it.
JM: Anything else you would like to add?
AIDA:Amy, thank you so much for this great honor and opportunity to share a little about myself with everyone. I would also like to thank all of my customers for their continued support; without them, AnnaBella*Designs would only still be a dream.
